I won't do much of a write-up, since lathany takes notes and everything, but Sigurne messed up.
The description of the event can probably be summed up as follows:
I ripped a hole in the nature of reality and all I got was this lousy T-shirt
Alternatively:
If you're close enough to see this the nature of your being has been irrevocably altered
(...unless you're fast enough to get to the stairs, that is...)
And then we went to attack the Big Bad and everything went wrong. Sigh.
