Renegade Master

My brother tells me that the song "Renegade Master" refers to several famous DJs of the type often called "underground".

In particular, he tells me that there were DJs called Renegade Master and Damager.

But he might be making this up. Does anyone have an alternative theory?

I've always assumed it was a role-playing song; d4 damage, what else could it be?

Just so long as they don't start co-producing with rappers D12...

I think we used to call that sort of thing (for predictable).

And a number of my roleplaying colleagues used to be into D10 back in the day !

You see, this is the problem. I think that subconsciously I never really questioned that it meant d4 damage until I started to think about the actual words, and then I needed answers. The role-playing translation seemed to be lacking in a few key areas.
