For giggles tonight, notmywife and I watched an episode of The Saint from 1966. What can I saw about the clothes, the make-up, the acting, the staged fights, the dialogue beyond the title of this post. It was so bad it was hysterical. I still think John Barrowman should do The Persuaders if he's going to remake anything (in the Tony Curtis role, of course). :) I'd dreamcast it with Martin Marquez in the Roger Moore role myself, but David Tennant would probably be the more marketable option.

Raffles... I would love a Raffles TV series. That's a harder one to cast, though. Rupert Graves once upon a time, though he's perhaps a little old now (perfect for Lucifer Box, though). Rufus Sewell could do it nicely, although I've got him pencilled in for an Adam Adamant remake. Peter Wingfield would have been good a few years ago as well.

Damn it, I don't know enough younger actors! James Scott would be good, but I want him for The Saint. :D

Adam Adamant is brilliant. I guess the black and white puts some people off, but it really deserves to be more well known. It's so much fun. I'm a sucker for old TV, though. :)
