notmywife's mother passed away this morning - I'm away from home and probably will be for the weekend at least

thank you - It's especially difficult for notmywife's father, who is frail both mentally and physically, and finds this very hard to understand.

It's very bittersweet to me - this is someone who did her best to end my relationship with notmywife, but on the other hand was a wonderful grandmother to our girls. That's all I really want to remember about her now.

Oh, the girls and I are okay, notmywife and her father are the ones going through a really tough time - all the emotional issues on one hand, all the practical and financial issues on the other hand. Just have to keep going.

They saw her on the 5th Feb, happy as a clam eating cake and drinking champagne at her 89th birthday party. I think that's an excellent last memory, really. Just need to get everyone through the vigil and funeral this week.
