That is a really good idea. If you are not getting anything done on those days then there forcing yourself is not making a positive difference.

Yes, you're absolutely right! I think I just needed to figure it out for myself... This week is going slower on writing so far, but at least I don't feel stressed out by it. :-)

Stress is a creativity killer so less of it is a good thing.

I'm struggling to write at the moment too.I blame the weather and time of year.

*sending you some good writing vibes*

Yeah, I blame the weather, too! With it being so bleak and grey, it's hard to find motivation to do anything... But hopefully it'll get better soon! :-)

Yeah, I often find that the 200 words I forced myself to write while falling asleep are only fit for being deleted the next morning! Word count goals are mostly useful when I'm feeling both creative and lazy ;D

Haha, yes. However, I often feel like starting to write even when I have some free time feels like too much of an effort. So I thought if I had a nice manageable word count I might feel more motivated to write at least for a bit each day (or each second day maybe). But I really felt stressed out by the word count last week, so I'm taking it somehwat easier this week... ;-)
