Who wants to speculate on Cabin Pressure??

So, I'm just going to speculate about the final episode of this series of Cabin Pressure. There are no real spoilers (I haven't been to the recordings or anything), but there will be spoilers for all the episodes that have been aired so far. Anyone who wants to throw in their own theories is very welcome!

The official one sentence blurb for next week is available. I don't consider that a spoiler but in case others do...
[Blurb Spoiler]"Love is in the air as Douglas and Herc fight it out over the fruit tray, and hope springs eternal as Martin has the interview of his life." So Martin is definitely going for the interview. Herc and love (maybe we can hope for more mention of Theresa, too, though the actress isn't in the episode?) are appropriate enough for an episode that will air the day before Valentine's Day, I suppose.Beyond that, I don't know. I'm still holding out hope for an episode "Z" special at some point but don't expect another full season (love to be proven wrong) so I hope everything isn't 100% wrapped up with everyone going separate ways

Yeah, I really do hope for another mention of Theresa! She's my favourite new character this series. :-)

Just like you, I'm hoping for a "Z" special at some point, but I really think this will be the final series otherwise. (I'd love to be proven wrong, but the end of the alphabet really seems like a very convenient and natural stopping point.)

As for Air Switzerland hiring new pilots: Theoretically I'd agree with your objections, but in reality I can totally see it happen like this. Firing old pilots just to hire new ones. Sounds very much like real life to me...

But in the end, I think the episode will surprise us all! :-)
