This is a bit late, but I promise I'm only counting the words from last week. ;-) At the moment I'm feeling pretty creative, as in I have many ideas. Putting them down on paper (or my computer, really) hasn't worked as well, though. But not too bad, either, especially considering that I've been on a mini-holiday for half of the week where I didn't

1000 words is really good, and especially if you've been getting a lot of ideas as well:) It's always a very good feeling when your creativity is flowing!

How exciting that you're thinking about submitting for an e-book anthology, I would love to hear more about that if you decide to go through with it:)

Yes - having a lot of ideas sometimes feels even better than actually writing one of them down...

About the anthology: I already have come up with a very basic concept of a story I want to write. Now I need to get some research done and then of course the writing. I'm thinking of writing the first draft of one scene of the story for this week's short challenge. We'll see by tomorrow whether I've succeeded in this. ;-)

I think you should definitely set the goal of submitting something. That's a very exciting thing to be considering and I absolutely think your writing is up to snuff for professional submission.
