Thank you! I love the fandom, too, and as this was my first time writing it, I'm glad you thought everyone was in character. :-)

I don't know the fandom at all, but your writing is EXCELLENT!

(Is this the American TV show with Anna Friel?)

Thank you! :-)

And yes, that's the show. I can highly recommend it, if you're interested in checking it out. It's a kind of murder mystery series, too, but with an unconventional approach. While there's a fun case every episode, much of the focus of the series lies on its atmosphere - a mixture between morbidity and sugar-coated sweetness. (Think the French film Amelie set in a morgue.) I especially love the show's creativity, playfulness and awareness of tropes and clichés (and then using them for fun). But it's quite morbid and absurd at times, so it's not for everyone. From the people I recommended it to, half of them loved it and half of them hated it.

Enough advertising now, but I really love that show despite being cancelled far too early and think it's very excellent and worth checking out to at least see if you like their approach. :-)

Add me to the 'I need to re-watch this show' list. :-) Also, you captured them very well. The detailing of ages was a very nice touchstone.

*wanders off because there was another story/drabble she set out to find before she (as usual) got distracted...*
