And another entry today - it seems I'm getting back into blogging. :-D

I can't believe I've almost missed the PodCastle Flash Fiction Contest! Only one month left to enter! I better start writing right now! *very excited*

Okay, what am I talking about? PodCastle is a podcast which runs fantasy short stories. Occasionally they host flash fiction

Yes, very exciting! :-)

I've had one idea so far and I've already written the first draft of it. Not sure if it's going to be the story I'll submit, though. I like it, but I'm not sure if it's fantasy enough. It's funny: Although I usually write very short fiction and drabbles, I've never struggled so much to put both world building AND plot into 500 words. I suppose with fanfiction you just don't have to worry so much about world building and when I've written original fiction, it's often been vignettes that didn't tell much of a story. Doing both is hard! But I've still got plenty of time, so I hope I can come up with something. :-)
