Looks like someone connected a drain to the wrong place.

The original electrician who did the job was a crackhead, literally. I feel sorry for the homeowner who got ripped off. He's probably going to sue the general contractor who hired the asshole.

Yeah, it kind of freaked me out when I was getting set to take the cover off and suddenly heard the wooshing noise and all that water started gushing out. ;)

This happened to my Uncle Joe in Newark when a building had a busted sprinkler system. And he made the call as the city inspector to have the power cut to the building... He found out afterwards that that building turned out to be the main back up AND relay for ALL the the air traffice switch boards at Newark International.

Yep, my Uncle Joe brought Newark to a hault for a few hours. ;)

Hahah. Oops? well, thankfully this panel just affects the house. It turned out to be a crack in the out-flow hose from the sump pump right next to where the conduit entered the foundation. (see arrow in link). The crack was likely caused by that lower piece of counduit being forced in that space during installation. Some people are just too lazy to use a hammer drill and make a clean hole. :/
