WOW that was definitely action-packed and very intriguing!

I was starting to get worried near the end that the unthinkable would happen. Am so glad it didn't!

Wonderful job!!!

and I pretty much suck for not saying Thank You! *blushes*

I love that you created this world for them, separately and then together.

It's a story that will sit/set with me for a long time, I think.

*hugs*

Excellent story! Well told, and very exciting, and the tone of it rich and fitting to the setting. i enjoyed it very much.

I'm thinking lady_razzle wrote this.

Argh, serves me right for forgetting to track comments! Anyway, surprise, not lady_razzle, 'tis me :-) I don't write much Viggorli, but this was enjoyable. I'm glad you liked it!

Wow very intricate. I love how their lives are spearate yet not, how with each passing year they come closer to finding each other without ever knowing what it was they were looking for. I love that Orlando asks and to be kissed and then ends up doing the kissing. I love that they are strong, wonderful people in their own right and together they are complete. Lovely story telling. I really enjoyed this one.

Argh, one of these days I'll remember that I need to track comments for stories I didn't post myself.

Thank you so much for reading and leaving feedback. I'm glad you liked the way I wrote this; I'm not 100% comfortable with Viggorli so I think it came more naturally to me to develop the characters separately and then throw them in together.

What he found instead was the warm, supple place between the thighs of a stranger, the spot he could lave with his tongue to make a grown man cry, and a way to arch his back and bend underneath a British soldier that would trigger a feeling unlike any other.
*drops dead at fabulous line*

homesick for an indistinct place

Above him the Buddha smiled down, and the sky was a brilliant shade of blue
such a vivid image; i can see it.

Bimal's heavy body slumped in its well-wrought chair, his hands falling useless

i love the entire exchange with kanti.

The edge of the world seemed less empty, somehow
gorgeous.

pale overlaid copper in the dying light

Orlando moved slowly enough to let the sharp features of Viggo's face blend and blur with the blue sky and the white mountains behind him, his stoic expression shadowless in the noon sun

You've always let me love you

this was dramatic and intelligent and intriguing and made my mouth water even on the second read.
