Comment Notification Emails

When I posted the fics, I didn't check the box to disable email notification of comments (I had enough trouble remembering to switch the journal they went to... heck I just posted this to my personal journal accidentally... remembering to check that box was out of the question), so all the comments are showing up in my inbox

I'm fine.. I'll just read through and check for comments periodically.

Though, if you want to send them my way, I'm okay with it.

That's a sweet offer, but tagging the entry works too and saves you extra time.

Do you mean tracking? 'Cause I'm not sure how tagging it would help.

And I don't know that free users can track comments to entries not their own, plus don't tracked threads just notify you when there's a comment, not tell you what the comment is? I could be wrong, as I've never used the tracking feature for that before, but that's how the other notifications work. *shrugs*

Personally, I prefer to have all the feedback emails I get stored on my hard drive. I don't know why; I never go back and look at them, but I do. Maybe other people are the same way.

Yes I did mean tracking. Unfortunately my brain works faster than my fingers. It does send you the comment in the email, but you could be right about it being a paid feature only.

Nessa, if that's the case about tracking (I just enabled it on the fic I wrote) - that it includes the actual comment in the email notification - then you can ignore my previous request to email any comments to me. Although I would appreciate any comments that have been made prior to this comment. I'm like you - I keep all feedback emails on my hard drive.
