hmmm. a memory worth mentioning...oh this is a tough one. Well I do remember this one girl.... Man she was a crazy one. I remember one time we hung out in her backyard...it had to have been one of the first times I'd ever been to her house and we hung out in her backyard for hours in the dark, despite the fact that it was frikking freezing. but this girl was cool. She still kissed me after I ate out of the trash, she put up with my antics no matter how many times it resulted in her landing on her head (though she did use it to smash my nose once) or being publicly embarassed. heh, she still put up with me after a public supersoaker battle in a white T-shirt in front of all my friends. I think I finally loaned her a new shirt after about oh....a couple hours or so. cool chic, can't quite recall the name though....

I remember you with owl hair and a Mickey Mouse t-shirt.
And also a huge green and purple striped sweater with holes in the sleeves.
I remember you in spiderweb tights and orange spray-dyed hair, this much [ ] cooler than me. =)
I remember you covered in second-hand Mountain Dew.
At a sock hop.
Dancing with me when we were way too cool for boys (and aren't we still?).
Blotting grease off a pizza with the Posse on half days.
Belting out Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride, Garth Brooks.
Gorging on Skittles.
Decked out in Tweety Bird.
Climbing on things.
Falling from things.
As a dancing fairy with a green scarf.
And a 1950's horror show waitress (yes?)
And an award-winning angry teen mother.
And waltzing.

I remember running around Groton center/cemetary with you on some unimportant holiday (memorial, veterans?). We both had the streaks in our hair, and wore near identical outfits (not on purpose, i don't think. Your dad was camera crazy, as always, and captured a photo of us sprinting in the distance I don't think we were able to tell who was who.

Staying up late on really hot summer nights with all the windows open, the fans going on around us, that one lamp with 3 seperate lights that's exactly the one I have in my room the only thing on, listening to Dido and whatever else we could find, writing and reading to each other long into the night. Truth or dare and gorging on ice cream. Sleeping out on the trampoline and waking up at 3am with dew on my nose and not being able to fall back asleep because of talk radio. Sleeping out in the tent and moving inside because it was so cold, luckily finding out the next morning that we had narrowly escaped a freak hail/slush/snow storm that had collapsed the tent.

Fire.
