The news seems to change everytime a new article comes out .. according to the Primeval forum a few weeks ago, series 4 was going to start "a few months" after the end of series 3 .. but a whole year??

Jason Flemyng has apparently only committed to doing 3 episodes because he has already agreed to other things before the series got recommisioned.... so I'm guessing that means Danny doesnt make it back, but Connor and Abby will

I also guess the reason for the gap is down to the actors looking so different from the last scene ... Hannah has long hair now for example, Andrew's filled out a bit ... I'm just glad that the series is returning but I hope that we aren't left feeling we've missed something. Something will have happened between Connor and Abby (what's the betting that Abby will either be pregnant or have a baby?) I'm just disappointed that we won't see them get together properly for the first time, it'll probably just jump to them being a couple... :(

Exactly, see that's what I'm dreading. I want to see what happened between Connor and Abby. I don't want the scene to switch to them waking up together in the same bed. I want to see everything leading up to that. Hell, it's why I watch the show!
