I wonder how much longer this snow will remain; it's quite cumbersome, though not as much as the heat waves we've previously had. It seems to be facilitating the strange "curse" brought on by the Wilderness. With luck a permanent cure for that will be found.
For those who share households with others: Is such an arrangement unsatisfactory to you?

It is.
[Quicklog start~]
[Gundam followed the map in his journal, arriving at Aurora's without trouble. He knocked twice then waited, pocketing his journal.]
It's Gundam.
Reply
I already told you the door would be unlocked; you should have just come in.
[Stepping aside, he held the door open to allow Gundam to enter.]
Reply
Unless necessary I have no intentions of barging in on you, whether you leave the door open for me or not.
[He looked momentarily thoughtful, as if trying to determine why he felt that way, before shaking it off.]
You're still upset with me. We need to talk it over.
Reply
That is rather respectful of you.
[Turning around, he met the other's eyes for a moment before looking away with a brief huff.]
Of course I'm upset. You hit Sniper. I don't see how talking about it will resolve anything.
[And yet he had agreed to this conversation.]
Reply
I respect you. [Just like that, no precursor. He didn't know why or how it had been earned, but he knew he respected the other, as a friend and as a comrade. Context was right out though.]
It may not resolve anything, but I believe we need to speak about it all the same. Talking about it won't change the situation or my actions, but I cannot leave you angry with me either.
Reply
I- [He paused, trying to hide the fact that words were failing him] Well, I don't know how to stop being angry at you. You apologized, and Sniper forgave you, but.. At the time, it had felt familiar. Like it'd happened before, but worse.
[The more he talked, the more distracted he looked, focusing on the memory and the lingering feelings they had drudged up]
Reply
It felt familiar to me as well, the situation. I am still uneasy about it. However... What about it bothers you so much?
Reply
[He wished Gundam would stop looking at him, and he busied himself by walking to the window, looking out at the falling snow. Against the dark background of the night it reminded Aurora of stars, and he felt slightly more at ease.]
I don't like that he was hurt because of me. I should have been the one to get hit; it was my fault for not paying attention to my surroundings.
Reply
It was not your fault. I was reacting on instinct, and Sniper protected you because he wished to. If anything I should learn to control my impulses. However, arguing about blame isn't going to change it.
[Gundam looks back at Aurora, still thoughtful.]
Perhaps we've been in a similar situation. But nothing can be done about either circumstance. Whether or not you blame me or yourself.
Reply
Blame is important. If a mistake is made, someone should accept punishment for it so everything can go back to normal.
[But even as he said it, there wasn't as much conviction in his voice as there should be. It was as if he was unsure whether he completely believed that or not.]
If nothing can be done, then this will just remain stagnant. I'll always be angry at you, and you'll always feel guilty about it. That is not something I want to see happen.
Reply
People should be held accountable, yes. I hold myself so. But I believe blame should be measured judged on the crime.
We can move past the incident and ensure it does not happen again; I can be more careful, you more vigilant. I have no intention of allowing you to remain angry indefinitely.
Reply
I see. Then that will have to do; just make sure your target is not a friendly before you attack.
[There could have been a quick ghost of a smile on his face, the possibility of a joke, but it was gone so fast it could have easily been the eyes playing tricks.]
Since you've made the hassle to come all the way here, I should make you some tea. Have you had it before?
Reply
I'll confirm my targets next time.
[Gundam's voice was mildly dry, but in a fond sort of way. He hadn't realized how much Aurora's annoyance had bothered him until he realized that Aurora was willing to forgive him. It was wrong that they had been at odds.]
I haven't, that I remember.
Reply
I'll make some for us. The water takes approximately six minutes to boil, so you might as well make yourself comfortable; you haven't even taken off your coat.
[Leaving Gundam to choose from one of the few simple chairs in his living room, he stepped into the open kitchen, finding a clean kettle and filling it with water.]
Reply
So were you considering having someone move in with you?
[All the way back to the conversation starter that had been Aurora's question in the journal.]
Reply
I have begun entertaining the thought. Before, it was an unacceptable option, but now I wonder if there may be some benefits to such an arrangement.
[As he spoke, he settled the kettle onto the stove and set it to high. With nothing to do but wait, he turned to fully face Gundam. The scarf distracted him for a moment; it was oddly fitting on him.]
