A flash of bright light in the distance; the EMP bomb had gone off.
It was, finally, time to move out.
"That's it!" Ryan yelled, scrambling to his feet, feeling a little chilled even though he knew that it was too far away to have affected him at all.
"Everyone! Let's get going!"

There probably isn't the time to start asking questions, though, he thinks, checking his own weapons and armour. At a distance, the troops would probably mistake him for one of their own. But after that... no telling.

Some of the troops open fire as they see Jetfire waiting. With Skywarp already attacking and Fortune having made it in already, they're not taking chances.

Light being relative here. The plasma rifles they're firing could vapourize a human in one shot.

Less than a hundred feet from it, she somehow, impossibly, pops a wheelie on the motorcycle... and as the front wheel touches the gate, the entire cycle is launched up along the fence and into the air above the base, using the entire assembly as a magnetic-accelerator launching point.

It's possible to hear yells and orders being exchanged as they try to work out what's going on. First their defenses are shut down, then the buildings are broken down, now this...
