0029. His conspiracy theories

Jan 12, 2009 19:27

Gundam and Crow disappeared shortly before the bridge to that upside down city manifested. The timing is a little too coincidental; could they have found a way there? Or even been taken?

And what is the purpose of that city? It is something I would expect inside the wilderness, not from the skies.

It all bears investigation.

Dash does not concern me, so I did not bother to mention him. But it is possible he is in a similar situation as the other two.

Talking about people disappearing is a bit inappropriate right now.

No strikes because he's awkward like that :D earth_uninstall January 13 2009, 04:13:40 UTC
I think it's very relevant.

Have you checked the Wilderness? Maybe he got munched by a dragon!

Others have already been to the Wilderness and made no mention that either of them could be there.

A dragon could not beat Gundam.

Someone prolly would have found him by now if it had. I think your first idea might be closer to it. Too many people missing for it to be the wilderness.

earth_uninstall January 13 2009, 04:24:10 UTC
Exactly. Too many people have been to the Wilderness that their presence would have noted, while that city remains a complete unknown.

Do you know if a reconnaissance party is being formed to investigate it?

You find the timing too coincidental?

The same might be said of the exact time that Crow disappeared and other events that occurred that same night. And yet you seem remarkably unconcerned that they may be linked.

Reply

earth_uninstall January 13 2009, 04:18:21 UTC
Because I am aware that Crow was not linked to that event.

I already told you I was not interested in discussing this topic with you.

extantlaw January 13 2009, 04:25:03 UTC
You have no more idea if Crow was linked to that event than I.

And I think you have made your disregard for the safety of others perfectly clear.

Your statement is incorrect.

I care about the safety of me and mine, and those connected to them. What right do you have to make such a judgment?

The people from that city seem to have as little clue about this as we do. The initial wave of people, at least.

That talking sword didn't even know how to find other swords!

felinemystique January 13 2009, 04:48:25 UTC
Yeah, it seemed pretty useless.

My sword is cooler anyway, and it doesn't talk!

Who would have taken them?

Reply

earth_uninstall January 14 2009, 03:08:05 UTC
The residents of the city. Considering we are unsure of their motives, it is entirely possible.

sauntersthrough January 14 2009, 21:27:07 UTC
But what would they want them for?

earth_uninstall January 15 2009, 00:32:51 UTC
I do not know. It could have been a kidnapping of opportunity, or some shared quality about those missing that labeled them as targets.

There is not enough information about the occupants of the city to make any sort of accurate prediction.
