Smidgeon! I sent you a text. Did you get it? What network are you on? My flight was also cancelled, but I made it over here, too. I would imagine that you, unlike me, have had no trouble finding a Catholic church. My Evangelical neighbors will be back next week. They told Antonia, one of the two other Catholic girls here, that because she was a Catholic, she wasn't really a Christian. This to a girl who grew up in Saudi Arabia, going to Mass in secret, at night. They make me so mad sometimes

Oh, what a wonderful idea! Collective e-mails through livejournal. It sounds like you're having so much fun, baby--I'm so glad!! I can only imagine what you see everyday (can't wait for pictures!), but it sounds like everything we've ever dreamed of. Sam just chirped (my cat does not meow, he makes bird sounds) at me. I will assume that he is saying "hello" to his absent godmother. I miss you, love!! Am waiting eagerly for my first letter! I am so glad that you are enjoying yourself--I don't need to mention how much you've needed this. Can't wait for March!! Oh, is there an address to which I can send letters to you?
