"Through exploration of a nearby corporate park, we found all kinds of exciting things in the dumpsters. Boxes of brand new Nikes (left foot only, but still super-cool to a kid), computer components, and official looking papers. Once we had a nice stack of these papers, we decided it would be cool to make a fake organized gang, called the Vipers. We felt powerful with our documents and the “bombs” we crafted from discarded motherboards and wire. We filled little baggies of cocaine (uh, flour) and played out an advanced version of Cops and Robbers."
Holy shit! My childhood involved doing this sort of thing in the woods. I love this image of raiding the suburban wilderness. Awesome.
