Hello once again, Hogwarts
I know it’s been a while since I’ve written, and I wish it was under better circumstances than I am writing now. However, it is my duty as Chairman of the Board to inform you that Professor Rangiku Matsumoto has decided to resign from her position as Head of Hufflepuff. It was a personal choice on her part, and we are most

As future Head Boy, I'd like to introduce myself. Seifer Almasy, 7th Year Slytherin Prefect. I imagine you've probably heard of me, and I hope at least some of it was good.
I'd also like to say that there will not be a better Head of House for Hufflepuff than Rangiku Matsumoto. I say that both knowing her as a teacher and as a friend.

Rangiku, I'm not gonna stay silent about it. You're too good for that. Besides, you oughta be recognized.

Indeed, Professor Matsumoto has done Hufflepuff a great service as its Head, and we're sad to see her go. Sometimes we all must move on, however, and Professor Matsumoto decided it was her time. Rest assured, the Board and your Headmaster will to our best to find a suitable replacement.

Is a replacement head being considered and how soon will we know?
Will Professor Rangiku Matsumoto be continuing her position as Charms professor or will that position be open soon?
I was also wondering if meeting minutes are available for students to read over? I'd be very interested to get a chance to look over those.
Thank you for your time,
Kazumi Asakura.

We are indeed considering a new Head of Hufflepuff, and the rest of the school should know when we all manage to agree as soon as possible.
To my knowledge, Professor Matsumoto is intending to continue with her post as Charms Professor - this was a personal decision on her part and had no influence from the Board. You'd probably get more luck asking her about that, to be honest! Although I do have to ask that you respect your Professor's wish for privacy.
As for the minutes, they are indeed available to the general public, but I can do you one better - all meetings are open to the public, unless we hold a confidential meeting to discuss teacher/student incidents and other topics involving peoples' private lives.
If you have any more questions, feel free to comment any time! I'll be in the school for the next meeting soon too, so if you catch me while I'm there I might be able to spare a few minutes to answer you in person.

I was planning on interviewing Professor Matsumoto soon, it's important to cover all the angles after all. And of course, I can assure you that if there is any problems with the article from the Professor it will be taken care of before print.
I'm glad to hear that meetings are open. I'm sure you'll spot me at the next one then. It would probably be a good chance to talk to some of the other board members as well.
