Thanks! *hugs* I missed you at Con! hope you had a good time!
The syndication does provide a link back to the original post on Blogger, but it also has a comment form, which is where people will be most likely to comment. I don't get a notification if a comment goes there.
I have my feed on my own friends list, so I guess I am just going to keep an eye on it. I just don't know what else to do. *shrug*
Thanks for setting that up, I really love seeing what you are working on and all the pretty pictures, and I send links to friends of mine when I see something I think they will like.
Skennedy made a good suggestion... I am going to post a little bit at the bottom of each post as a reminder to post to my original blog. I added in my shop links, which is something I have wanted to do for a while, so it works out well!
I'm really surprised you didn't find another solution -- and saddened, since I met you once and comments here is about it, now -- especially since I run my 'real' blog on Wordpress and it took about thirty seconds to get auto-updating to LJ working. Blogger must have some sort of competition vendetta with LJ! I will subscribe anyway, but it's too bad. >.<
There might be a solution, but I am pretty tech-challenged and I couldn't figure out anything. I have looked into Wordpress before too, and I am just so used to Blogger and reluctant to spend a lot of time learning new stuff. I know, that sounds pretty lazy, but I have beads to make, LOL!
I got Blogger to send the feed along via an email trick, but it didn't send the photos. Bleh!
Well, obviously it's worth the technical inconvenience for you to have more time to make beads! For one thing, there need to still be some left by the time I have a spare dollar to my name, so I can have some! (You haven't seen my coat I think, but it's this giant floor-length black wool number with a hood, and it needs steampunk buttons SO BAD. ;)
