The profundity of innocence really gets me sometimes. I think this is why I am constantly trying to nourish the child inside. I do not advocate being childish, but rather, childlike. If you cut out the crap and stress of paying rent/mortgage, doing the 9 to 5, and politicking... you get this-- real insight.
I love them all, but my favorite is the so called "winner". A child isn't daunted by emotions, he hasn't yet been conditioned enough know that he shouldn't show them.

We begin life with incredible intution, connection to our bodies (we know when we are hungry, tired, etc.) and the ability to express emotion without immediately censoring ourselves. We lose these things bit by bit every day as we grow up. These are precious gifts, ones that many adult struggle their entire lives to find again. It is so hard to maintain a sense of innocence as an adult, or even as a child, in this world. I'm trying to keep that little girl inside alive, too.
Maybe your inner child and my inner child can go to the park and play sometime:)
