...is $500/month for approximately 950 sq. ft. (There are a few people reading my journal who I don't care to make privy to that information, hence the posting here). It's on Dennis Ave. off Millville there by the Clark station as you're headed out of town. I've discovered that everyone's favorite sophomore honors english teacher recently bought a house very nearby. I tried to get the landlord to lower the rent, but no dice.

Good Lord. My quality of life would improve about threefold if I were willing to move away from the city. Though, I don't think any rent could convince me to live in her vicinity.
Congrats on the place. I'm assuming it's your first? That's a nice feeling, isn't it?

Yep, first place. It's great, especially w/ 7 people living in my house. Billy and I just laid in the middle of the empty living room the other night in complete silence for about 20 minutes and enjoyed the nothingness.
hi,is this becca gadd? if so, this is beth mcclain. i'm living in the city now too. i had heard from mr. simpson you had gone into publishing and stumbled upon your comment on katrina's lj...if this is you, we should have coffe or something sometime. we can commiserate about how much we pay for rent...because i feel ya on that one!
well, I'm living in Park Slope Brooklyn - I like it a lot. Working for a soul killing e commerce company during the day to pay the rent and pursuing my acting career which is a crazy journey. But yes. coffe and catch up. sounds good.

Hey Beth,
It might be better to do this via direct email. Mine is rg608@nyu.edu.
Weeknights except for Mondays or Wednesdays are good for me. And Saturday/Sunday days. I don't know what your schedule is like between the work and the acting.

I'm down in the East Village these days, so coffee is definitely abundant. We should catch up.

Also, do you have a preference for location?
