What's the procedure for lottery ticket purchase? How much do they cost? The Mega Millions jackpot is at $355 million this week, and I'm thinking it might be worth a frivolous expenditure to get my hat in the 1/176 million odds ring.

Pretty simple. Go to a bodega (hell, I bet Adinah's has them) and either fill out a slip or do a Quick Pick (the machine picks number for you). Choose either lump sum or 26 annual payments, get your slip, pay $1 per entry, wait for the drawing.
