I'm a huge fan of Neil Gaiman. If you can wait til I get back I can lend you most of his Sandman graphic novels...all the ones I have up until I graduated from Uni. You might like his novel American Gods....and I got his newest collection called Fragile Things, which I am giving to my sister when she gets here, but she may return in the near future....in which case, it's yours to read if you like. I know this may be odd, but I also love his children's novels because they are so creepy. The one I'm thinking of particularly is called Coraline. It's so good. Also, his collaboration with Terry Prachet, Good Omens, is hilarious but not as creepy and dark as some of his stuff. Does this help at all?
