We were able to finally get over to check out the sunset at Safe Harbor Regatta Pointe in Palmetto the day before my sister left to go back to PA. Everything seemed to be bathed in gold.
Thank you, my friend! We had a delightful time actually not doing too much of anything but just hanging around together. We had good talks and she helped out with Pete a lot, and also made the best "big salads" for us to eat. I began to miss her the moment she left. I'm hoping she'll be able to come down again soon, but in cooler weather. The heat kept us inside except for early mornings and after 7 p.m. when temps started dropping a bit. Very little rain, it is actually over a month late in coming here so we are in a major drought. How's the weather where you are, Val

Although I'm not normally big on praying, I will offer a prayer or two every now and then for Pete and his heart issues. Having had my quintuplet heart bypass over 7 years ago now, I struggle to eat better and live better. Some success in those efforts is that I have lost about 50 pounds in the years since the surgery. And Hopefully Pete's ICD will be the aid he needs. Hugs and lots of Love to you all.
