There seem to be some new features since we were last here. I'm yet to decide if I like them or not.

there are? Where? It mostly still feels like how I left it five years ago... maybe with a bit of new polish, but still nowhere near the web2.0 ajaxy stuff that was really taking off around then. My personal LJ looks and acts just like it ever did - same odd custom theme and all.

hmm, LJ told me I was using the old friends view, and I should try out the new one.

The new one spins and spins and spins and loads nothing.

Perhaps it's failing because I'm blocking some trackers with ghostery. Even FB works with that stuff blocked though.

No obvious way to revert to old friends view. So... perhaps they're attempting to web2.0, but seems like they're failing badly from my perspective.
