It was actually rather heartbreaking -- right across the street from the park was the "SPACE FOR RENT" sign, right above the skeleton of the formerly blue awning.
One has to wonder how an icon crumbles like that, when there must be thousands out there who would jump through hoops to save it. I wanted to go see if the Yiddish theatre stars were still in the pavement, but I didn't want to get that close.

Laesh and I went to see "Rocky Horror Picture show" (our freshman year at CU!?!) at the movie theater across the street, when I discovered to my delight that it was the old yiddish theater.
