i like it okay, i guess. It's a fun place to go hang out by the water, which i really don't get enough of. But it feels like work, because it's really such a schlep for me (downtown 1 to columbus circle and walk to the F, and that's the easy way, which would be fine except that then i have to schlep HOME again at eight pm and it's exhausting).
The other thing, of course is that it has high populations of both disabled kids (two special private schools) and old people with no legs (a VA hospital, or somesuch). On occasion, it can be rather creepy standing in line at the deli.
