In October, major large banks (the usual suspects who screwed the Fed over) will be adding a $3 monthly charge for the simple fact of owning a debit card. That's right, and you thought that the shut down of the merchant charges wouldn't end in an easy break where the banks would go "oh well!" Yeah, I mean, where do you think

My bank has already started doing this if, and only if you do not participate in direct deposit or have less than $1500 in your checking account at any time. In other words, if you're broke but trying, we're going to take more of your money. Sad.
