NEW MOON UNIVERSAL MAGICK
I received this in an e-mail today and was encouraged to pass it around.
Lots and lots to think about now with the election results and all. I'm still kind of speechless.
Oh Well,
Well it's over. We fought the good fight and lost. Our Bloody king rules yet
another term. As pagans and creations of the Goddess what does this mean for
us?
The Goddess is all that is, will be and everlasting. She will endure this
as She has all pains inflicted on Her since the beginning of time. She will
continue to be, Her growth will appear again and again between the bombings
and war that seek to destroy Her. Souls will die and be reborn again and
again in hopes of learning the lesson "that we are all responsible for the
energy we put out and contribute to" and LIFE is GODDESS.
My hardest lesson has been to realize my pagan friends who supported the war
are not to be part of my future Spirituality. I realize there are pagans who
are pagans when it is a convenience, there are pagans who are pagans in
hopes of personal gains and there are pagans who reflect the Goddess. If the
Goddess is life how can a pagan support the war or a king who enforces war?
As a pagan I think it's only natural to leave behind - are at least
prioritize what does not enrich you on your path. We all have family and
friends we love who are not pagan and we accept them in our own way. But to
realize your differences with another pagan is still a learning lesson. I
leave them to their path and thank Goddess for mine.
As pagans we can not simply "ignore" Goddess, seeking Her only when it
suits us.
As a volunteer in the campaign I had the pleasure to make new friends and
work with 2 gay couples. Bush's re-election crushed all hopes of
their “equal” rights. This is Church Control
Once again abortion rights are crushed. As one of my new friends put it "
He is NOT pro life (100,000 dead in Iraq) He is pro birth". This is Church
Control
War in the name of God. This is Church Control
And last but not least- Promises of Protection and Prosperity at the price
of the less important citizens. This is Church Control.
As pagans this goes against everything the Goddess and our Spirituality
stands for but as pagans it is something we have witnessed for thousands of
years. As pagans we believe in allowing another their path but we must also
know in our heart of hearts that this is not an example of allowing one
their path. This is the path of others being manipulated into serving the
needs of the Church that still backs the King and vise-versa. Regardless
THIS is not the way of the Goddess.
So what does this mean to us? Reaching deeper into one's self and connecting
with the Goddess within. Only by being true to Her within can we find peace
in our times. Stand strong with Her in this time She is so violated against.
The times ahead are still yet to be known, let your energy and magick be
filled with intent of goodwill towards all who exist in the realm of the
Goddess and our blessed Mother Earth. Own who you are as a pagan by being
responsible for yourself and the energy you contribute back into this
universe.
There are many still in Bush's war, they are our brothers and sisters, let
your intent and magick give strength to their desires to come home.
Last but not least, I ask every one of you to join me in magick. Let us
gather as pagans that the Goddess may grant our magick the strength of the
universe. Let us seek sanctuary in HER against those who seek to continue
this war and the prejudices against others. On the November New Moon
please join me in candle magick. Light a white candle and say the mantra
below meditating on the union with all the others we will reach out to.
Post this to all sites and lets do magick to empower and protect us from
what is to come.
NEW MOON UNIVERSAL MAGICK
Gracious Goddess allow our intent and magick to reach across the universe
and the realms of time. Let our blood flow as one as we seek universal
consciousness with our brothers and sister who chose not to stand behind the
hatred and negativity that violates our beliefs and spirituality. Grant us
all sanctuary and safety in your light.
Gracious Goddess as we extend compassion to those who feel differently let
us also be protected from their ignorance and the mirror of three that will
reflect back to them their choices.
Gracious Goddess allow us the paradise and riches that come with the
acknowledgment that life it’s self is the true reflection of you. May we
live each day in your glory protected from those who seek differently. Grant
us courage as we walk our path.
Gracious Goddess bless our brothers and sisters in harms way from the greed
and fear of others. Let our intent light their path to the sanctuary of YOU.
