thank god the weather is beautiful. Yesterday morning I laid out in the sun, in the afternoon i went rollerblading with beth and rachel barth stopped by and we played 2 square. In the evening i went shopping with natalie and i got some really sweet jewlery on sale at Express. CPK for dinner was amazing. Bread/Salad/Pizza/Lemonade and having it all ( Read more... )

WHOA. I think your parents are going to have a hard time when you go away to college next year. Like, you're GOING AWAY. As in, you're NOT GOING TO LIVE AT HOME. Meaning that they have practically no control over what you do or the decisions you make. I mean, I love my mom more than anything and talk to her once or twice a day and I still feel like all these things are true. (It's always so hard for parents to let go...)

yeah my mom has this self-help book called "letting your chirld go" or something like that. It's going to be so incredibly difficult next year. Luckily this summer will help because i'm going to be at interlochen for 7 weeks. But still, i have no idea how they are going to survive with out me and vice versa.

Don't worry about it. You are a strong person and your parents are strong people. You will be completely fine without them and they will be completely fine without you, even though it will be hard. Something my favorite professor is always telling us: parenal love is the only love that is supposed to end in separation, so when you go off into the world alone and are successful, your parents have done their job!
