hi =grin= yes, it is... except for the access, and i ended up not going yesturday mostly because of that (and a little because i was in the moment and enjoying meeting a friend at the tate modern after going to the outsiders lunch, and it got a bit late). the space is downstairs, and i had planned to shuffle down the stairs on my arse, and ask someone to take my wheelchair down... but then it was raining and the stairs would be wet, and that would be a less pleasant arrangement. no-one i knew well enough to feel comfortable asking for physical assistance (like a piggy back) was going this month, and i didn't want to rely on the possibility to enter into that kind of arrangement with a stranger cos it can set up weird dynamics if people are not aware of disability equality issues. perhaps next time i need to organise a piggy back friend whatever the weather, if i want to try and go (i have been last year when i was walking much better than i am now). i also have ideas about trying to organise accessible and inclusive play space... =

It's a pity you didn't manage to go to the party. There are so little queer play parties in the world! We went to one in San Francisco some years ago, and it was great.
I read about your plans for making a tour trough Scotland, Denmark and Holland in the spring! You are more than welcome! Our house is not specifiably wheelchair friendly. But I'm sure we can manage if we help you going up the stairs slowly once a day. Other wise we put a bed for you in our living room. It would be really great to see you here, so lets stay in contact about your visit in the next months!
