having got back over here for the first time in a long time, i've been having a bit of a tidy up - tidying my friends list and the filters/custom friends groups operating on my journal.

i'd noticed the custom friends groups had got messy and verging-on-overwhelming over the years (maybe they multiplied while  i wasn't looking?). the FAQs assure me

I think the Facebook feature is simply allowing people to use Facebook Connect to comment on LJ posts in the same way OpenID providers could before. I could be wrong though, I avoid Facebook like the plague...
