It is something to cram three weeks’ vacationing in Taiwan into an LJ update, which why I put it off for such a long time. No more: I am confronting my fear of confrontation.

Even I, though practically illiterate when it comes to reading Chinese, could tell that the Chinese for “I believe you can” was a wrong translation for “Happy birthday, Pete.”

HAHAHHAHAHA.... some nice pirated version.

Plus, your entries are not as long as mine ;-; mine are hella long.

David told me to read this, so I did kittineko July 30 2004, 08:21:29 UTC
Gods, your trip reminded me of mine couple years ago, David was there too, so I suspect he told you about it. ^-^ My little sister has a couple DoReMi shirts she got over there...I can't believe they're still playing that. Did they play Hamtaro anymore? Or KoDoCha? KoDoCha's awesome. That and Kuro Neko, which is about a homocidal black robot kitty.

You know, they have pirated DVD's in Taiwan too, check out the open market. Or night market. I got a couple Harry Potters and X2 from there, complete with pirated covers and screwed up subtitles. Mahahaha.

Yeah. Lovely entry. ^_^ Not much else to say...bai!
