why is the DA unaware of harry's corporeal patronus?
because he's used it before in front of the whole school, at the conclusion of a dramatic quidditch game, and it's corporeal enough that dumbledore knows what it it... and then everyone's all impressed when susan bones brings it up, but was no one watching at the game??

I may be wrong, but I always thought Harry's Patronus isn't corporeal until he casts the spell at the lakeside. Before then (with the Boggarts and at the Quidditch game too), it isn't fully formed. Only knowing that he's already seen himself cast a corporeal Patronus allows him to finally do it by the lake.
