Yeah, we're pretty much fucked.

I feel like McDonnell probably has little chance of getting reelected though. And I'm glad to hear that Virginians are protesting this insanity.

Yeah, SNL and the rest of the media too - it's heartening to see that a lot of outlets are really picking up on this and rightfully framing it as completely nuts. It was good to see democracy in action with SOPA/PIPA getting taken off the floor for further editing, and I hope maybe if enough people get together and contact O'Donnell then maybe he'll be a good politician and break his promises about getting these signed into law ;)

I'm not sure I could actually make a coherent phone call without just calling him nasty names, myself, but I probably really should give it a try.

speaking of sopa/pipa, there hasn't been much outcry over the new destroy-internet-privacy bill, which worries me =/

has he taken a position on personhood yet? last i heard he was planning to sign ultrasound but hadn't said anything about personhood.

Here's what I don't get: if a woman has a miscarriage and the fetus is a person, has she just committed involuntary manslaughter?

i think it might still count as an act of god, unless she's done something to endanger the baby like... drinking, smoking, taking meds with cntraindications, doing drugs...
more importantly, do they count as dependents? and who's the poor schmuck who has to do child mortality statistics?
