Am I the only one who was totally unsurprised by 'revelations' that Kate Moss is a cokehead? Hello, it's practically a job requirement for the profession! And who cares that she had a threeway with Jude Law and his ex-wife? First our rock stars are watered down until we are given Fred Durst and Eminem, whose idea of being a hard ass is dissing ( Read more... )

Not at all. I mean, come on, she was once the poster girl for "heroin chic", for crying out loud.

Maybe we're just all "shocked" because they photographed her doing lines, as opposed to with a needle hanging out of her arm?

Who knows... celebrety watching rarely makes any sense, which (for me) is part of its entertainment value. -_^

Hee! I'm with you on that.

Personally I think celeb watching would be more fun if there were more photos like that out there. Lindsay Lohan holding a cranberry vodka doesn't cut it.

yeah...my thoughts exactly...why is she being crucified for something many models do? The damn photographer should be crucified for being a nosey jerk. Okay...as a photographer, I feel the "get the shot" deal, but I'd never, not ever, do the paparazzi thing. Ever.

Whenever I see photos of celebs that include papparazzi I am always horrified. I know they justify it by saying that it's part of the territory of being a celebrity, but I don't think there is anyone alive, no matter how attention starved, who wants to be tailed at all times by a horde of photographers. And then those glossy tabloids, which are admittedly like crack, keep spawning new imitators - I think I saw five or six last time I went in the store - which just keeps it all going.

I like looking at candid shots of Britney Spears as much as anyone else, but not THAT much.

Whoa! Late breaking news about Kate Moss!

(It's all so depressing, for just the reasons you mention. So I'll shut up before I start bleeding all over your journal.)

I wanted to shout the same thing about Kate Moss when I saw the headline, but never even bothered to mention it to anyone (Ha! Typical) Yeah, If feel sorry for her, I mean she is the one they are making an example of, for some ungodly reason, and everyone knows cocaine and models go together and have for decades!

I know! I feel bad for her, too. I wish she wouldn't have started issuing mea culpas, though. She needs to own her fabulousness, dammit!

But for the love of god, if a supermodel can't spend her life whacked out on cocaine and banging hot movie stars, than the hurricane terrorists have won.

*snicker*

Seriously. I read that headline and I'm pretty sure that my eyebrows HIT MY HAIRLINE. I mean ... FOR REAL! Oh my god! Supermodels do DRUGS? No fucking WAY?!

I think the other headline must have been - "NEWSFLASH - WATER WILL GET YOU WET!"
