I'm locking up my journal and making it friends-only. I don't want the responsibility of having to be a 'face' for my political viewpoints when I'm just blowing off steam, and the only way I can do that is to make it all friends-only. So if you want to be in the filter, respond to this post. Otherwise I'm taking you off my friends list.

I have set my default security to friends only, but I do go back and make some posts public if that's where I feel they should be. Maybe after some space, you might consider a similar option.

That's a good idea. Maybe I'll do that a bit down the road. For right now, though, I like the lack of pressure that comes with writing for a specific, known audience.
