Why, he's so liberal, he voted in favor of torture!

And he gets called out here, too. :P

Heh. I love This Modern World.

The shitty thing is that I can't punish Nelson, because that would mean I'd have to vote for Katherine Harris.

*headdesk*

I love my state senators! I swear I'd marry Marie Cantwell if I could!

Maria Cantwell is awesome. I have a political crush on her.

Me too. Every time I see her on TV I smile.
She has a FUCKHEAD of an opponent this time and if he wins I'm moving to Canada.

Eric Alterman said it best:

Sen. Lincoln Chafee (R-RI) voted against the bill, and Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT) voted for it. (Be honest: Switch parties, guys. Now.)

On the bottom list, do the Ds signify math grades? Cuz they sure as hell can't stand for Democrat.

Heh. I started saying that when Bob Casey started his campaign (I was in PA then). I think the only plus he's got going is "Not Santorum."

I sent Rockefeller (who voted for torture!) a letter awhile ago about missing the marriage vote and he wrote back about being sick and his wife being sick and blah, blah, and how he knows it's important to West Virginians that one man + one woman = marriage. I wrote back that I was glad he missed the vote.

Good for you! I should do the same with my responses but I just file them away. Rep. Young never agrees with me on anything.

Speaking of which, I need to call and express my EXTREME DISPLEASURE with Sen. Nelson. I swear, the only reason he's getting my vote is because Katherine Harris is running against him.
