This blog entry is to discuss on the topic of "Is it really so difficult for a AJ to find his Mr Right?" Well, my answer is yes and you would understand more abt it as u read on and follow my assumptions
( Read more... )
less than 10% of population is gay (and this % is outdated coz Kingsley's report was too long ago, and his research technique is flawed)
then etc etc etc.
nah. it's flawed also coz sometimes ppl dun look for ppl in the entire pool of men, sometimes it's thru a niche crowd of men, like frens of frens of frens in the upper circle of the gay world, or through lj, through trevvy etc etc.
but i agree, the chances are extremely low.
tt's why all look good in hope than someone would come by lo.
for those who remained not look good, they jaded liaoz.
thus the theory is true, coz it is a assumption... in reality, it is lower, i agree... but however we will never know the actual figure of total aj in the world... thus, it is safe to assume 50% of total male are aj...
this theory is juz coming from the point that the more u expect to find the "PERFECT" guy, the lower the probability of even getting attach is very low... thus, we should b looking not at expectations, but something else...
but the stats are flawed, even Alfred Kinsey as a sociologist + biologist listed that "10% of the population is gay" in Kinsey Report back at the earlier half of the 1900s, so assumption is grossly over exaggerated.
i'm just saying eh, 50% is totally off.
and yes i get his point. but it doesn't mean that agreeing to that = lower standards watsoever. the human mind is so much more than that.
Well, fate plays a major part in relationships although most people may not choose to agree with me...
Sometimes, I feel that the Goddess and Gods love to put us to the test by sending the wrong guys. Haha... Hope they stop the test and bless everyone with someone they truly deserve...
hmmm in life, lotsa things cant be explain by some mere stats de. sometimes things can happen in that 0.01% and sometimes where situation is like 99.99%, things just simply turn out from that 0.01%. things just happened in such strange way.

This entry also serves as a self reflection to look at what one really wants and how they should balance the probability against the requirements...
