I have met a lovely young woman, a Miss Christine Daaé. Unfortunately, she is on... bad terms with her husband and he has decided to blame things on me. I'd like to know why you refer to her as if she is unmarried, and why I hear you have been questioning M. le Vicomte de Chagny about her.

I question M. de Chagny about her because I was curious. I didn't know very much about her and I thought I might ask him. She is a lovely young woman.
