Does anyone know anything about circulation (of blood through extremities)? For about the past month, I often wake up with the “pins and needles” feeling in my right arm, and my right arm only, from my forearm to my fingers. It’s never ever the left, and I thought I sleep on either side, so I’m not sure if I’m always laying on that side, but it’s ( Read more... )

not to freak you out, but that could be a problem. someone i work with was talking about that, except i can't remember what turned out to be wrong with the person she was talking about, and i don't want to say the wrong thing and scare you! but you should go to the doctor, just in case. maybe a different one though since the one you went to before don't really know what it is.

thanks for the info. yeah, I was paying attention to it this morning and I noticed that it's not exactly the "pins and needles" thing, it just gets sore (unless it's like super-intense pins and needles)... I also think I need to try another doctor, like mine isn't bad, but I don't like him for some reason. I'm not freaked out, but I really shouldn't be so unwilling to go to doctors. But thanks again, and i'll probably make an appointment soon.

Okay, I'm definitely no expert, but I've always heard that the pins+needles feeling is caused by pressure on a nerve, not the blockage of circulation. So I guess it's a neurological thing, instead of a cardiopulminary thing. That's all I know though.

Hi, I saw you comment on dykeprincess's journal and Connie talks about you all the time.

aww, thanks! i'll add you now also.

anyway, as for my arm, i payed attention to it more and it's not exactly the pins and needles thing, it just gets, like, sore. So I don't know what's up, but i'm gonna go to the doctor for that and something else that should probably get checked on... but thanks you for commenting!
