i'm not an expert with clocks, i just put the pieces together, but i do have a bunch of motors and i can probably just replace it.

toast made me a rad clock quite similar to the above as a going away present when i left new york. it hung in the kitchen in my old apartment and now sits near the computer in the current apartment...it will hopefully go in my next kitchen as well, as its very kitchen-y.
