Your Christmas cake is, however, AMAZING.

Hehe. I'm planning on figuring out how to make it into cup cakes this year. Which may be interesting. The intention is to be able to give them away with hampers for Christmas presents, but this depends on me actually figuring out how long to reduce the cooking time for! Given the normal cake is 2-3 hours, I think cup cake size will be 30-45 minutes...

That's an awesome idea. Need to stop them drying out...or feed them with booze a la normal Xmas cake?

Definitely need to feed with booze, it's more the 'how long do I need to bake them for to make sure they're cooked, but not ROCKS'... :)

OiOi, /Audit/? For your Options?

Rather you than me, though as I'm crawling my way though P6/Tax I may yet recant. (Saving Advanced Performance Management til next semester as a sort-of-treat to myself as the final paper)

Alas yes. I am playing to my strengths, plus if I ever do get into practice it will have to be down the audit route so it makes sense to me. Last one for me this december!! P5 is a really nice paper but very time pressured. Lots of question practice will see you right though :-)

Good luck with tax!

*nods*

Can't see myself taking the leap across into practice at this point - commercial all the way, baby! I may end up doing some small company accounts on the side eventually, which I suppose would technically be running a one-woman practice, but that's why I plumped for tax. Even then, the statutory side of accounts aren't my preferred thing, I'd far rather get that over & done with, and move on to actually working with them to identify how to improve the business, rather than being stuck just giving a rear-view mirror conmentary!
