So I finally arrive in Newark, standing at the luggage carousel, I can't say that I was too optimistic that my bag was going to be there, given the change in flight plans AND the gross negligence and ignorance of Continental Airlines. Of course I didn't want my bag to not be there, I just thought it might take longer to arrive. So we had a good

Sorry you are having such a bad start to your trip. Is this a vacation, or is mission botswana complete?

It could e worse though... The ticket agent from continental could have been a horse....and feeling a little kicky. Besides, its the perfect excuse to walk through NYC naked :)

I did get my luggage, which arrived at Srdjan's place about 36 hours after I did, and after I lost hope and went shopping for a few things. I now own Fruit of the Loom underwear, which I haven't since 1985. I'm up for a jockstrap night though, soon I hope. You coming to visit? :-)
