I must be insane. It's off. I'm staying here. My farewell party was so good that I think I need those every week.

Alright, I leave in less than 2 hours. My bags are still not set.

I've got roughly 48 hours before I leave Michigan. Most of my stuff is packed. I should emphasize "most". I just weighed the largest suitcase that I have, a mere 56 pounds so far. The bags aren't supposed to exceed 50 pounds. Again, most of my stuff is packed.

Oh, and just 2 more nights of work too!

Yesterday I made another pretty big step in getting rid of A LOT of useless items I've been collecting. I swear, I hadn't thrown out a pair of shoes in 20 years. I still had a pair of shoes that I bought over 10 years ago that I stopped wearing after the Heaven's Gate incident....

I also got an email today from a good friend that relayed to me that even the locals in Botswana think it super hot right now, and they can't imagine that anyone from my friend's part of the world would be able to handle it.

I think I'm gonna leave Saturday, April 14. I actually started chuckling to myself as I finished writing that. It still seems so strange. I did get my staging package, and found out I need to be in Philadelpia at 1:30pm April 16 to meet all of the other intvitees for the 2 night staging. So I've told a few people about how I've been looking forward to volunteering with the Peace Corps. It's now official. I'm off to Botswana this April. The creepy, nasty guy at the gym decided to get a shirt that is the exact same as one that I wear! Now I can't wear that one anymore. The worst part is that I was wearing that one when I noticed it on him last week. Why did he have to ruin my gym wardrobe like that? I've noticed him wearing anything lycra over the past year or two, and now....

For some reason Kool Thing popped into my head. I go searching for my copy of Goo. NO LUCK! I hate when that happens. I had no problem coming across discs that I have no idea why I initially bought let alone kept for so long.
