(no subject)
I am posting this angry rant here because I'm hoping some people might empathize with my pain. 8(
After being kidnapped during "The American Dream" mission, I must say I was already pretty peeved off with Charon. I mean, I spent a GRAND buying his contract, he's supposed to be PROTECTING me! WHAT GIVES. But then I figured, "Hey, don't be so harsh, I bet he was kidnapped too!"
Only to NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN. The hell. So I make friends with Fawkes and we're kickin' ass, right up until I need to go back to Underworld. WHERE LO AND BEHOLD... I find Charon in Ahzrukhal's bar HAVING A BEER WITH SOME GHOUL GIRL. And he still has all the stuff I was making him pack-mule for me! And, of course, he chooses now to inform me that I can only have one companion at a time. I wanted to rain DOOM upon him. For, you know, essentially abandoning me in my one great time of need and stealing my stuff to go laugh it up in some bar.
The great tragedy of this is that I cannot tell you how long I ran around the Enclave base looking for him, thinking he needed rescuing. Needless to say, after our enlightening chat, I ran off to sulk, and Charon and I are no longer speaking.
