I have something to say about the Emmy noms:
Comedy Series
1. GLEE! I'll definitely be rooting for them. I love this show sfm.
2. 30 rock! My second favorite and the only one I wouldn't mind taking home the award instead of Glee. It'd be 4th in a row, too, which would put it just 1 consecutive Emmy below Frasier. That's pretty awesome.
3. I'm not surprised HIMYM is not in the list this year, to be honest. Hopefully this'll make them see they need to go back to being awesome already.
4. I never expect Chuck to be in the list, but it always makes me ridiculously sad when I see them getting ignored once again. Why so underrated, show? :(
Drama Series
1. MAD MEN! It's the only one I watch on the list, so I'm definitely rooting for a 3rd win for them.
2. No House makes me sad. I actually liked this season a lot. Poo.
Writing - Comedy
1. TINA FEY. If there is justice in the world, she'll take that baby home. I know she shares it with Kay Cannon, but whatever. In my world, it's Tina Fey.
2. The only way I won't be incredibly pissed off if Tina doesn't win, is if Matt Hubbard or the Glee guys get it instead. I'll be pissed off, but not incredibly pissed off.
Actor - Comedy
1. Alec Baldwin FTW! Oh, Jack Donaghy. I love you so.
2. I hate Mr. Schue with the force of a few thousand burning suns, but I love Matt Morrison sfm. He's lovely. So I won't bitch too much if he wins. I'll be quite happy, actually.
3. Oh, Zach Levi. You'll always be a nominee in my heart &hearts Maybe next year?
Actor - Drama
1. Hugh Laurie! He's so wonderful and I need him to win, k?
2. Jon Hamm is my second favorite, but he's far behind Hugh in my love list, so I will still be mighty pissed if he wins.
Actress - Comedy
1. TINA AND AMY AND LEA, OH MY. If I make a superhuman effort and try to be objective, I'll admit I want it to go to Amy/Tina because I can't choose just one and they're equally perfect. They're comedy geniuses and no one can compare. It's just not possible. But I'm not objective so I see Lea up there in that list and I just want her to win everything forever and ever. What can I say, I'm a fangirl at heart.
2. If none of those three ladies win? I don't even know. It won't be pretty.
3. OHSHIT Toni Collette is so gonna win. Damn you and your incredible amounts of talent, Toni!
Actress - Drama
1. January Jones, y'all! Go get 'em, bb.
2. Dear Emmy people, please stop ignoring Lisa Edelstein. It's not cute or funny, it's really quite heartbreaking. You better fix this fuckery next year, folks.
3. I don't even watch The Good Wife, and even I know Julianna Margulies rocks. So, if it can't be January, let it be her, ok?
Supporting Actor - Comedy
1. NEIL PATRICK HARRIS. The man just can do no wrong.
2. I'm not a big fan of Chris Colfer (BLASPHEMY! HORROR!), and I'm pretty sure it comes from my deep hatred of Kurt (*GASP*) so it's not like I'm going crazy over here rooting for him. But he compared working with Kristin Chenoweth to a priest working with Jesus and that gave him so many points that I wouldn't even mind if he won. I'd even be happy for him.
3. Where are Tracy Morgan and/or Jack McBryer? WHAT IS THIS. I DO NOT LIKE THIS.
Supporting Actor - Drama
1. John Slattery is the only one I care for, so I'll be rooting for him.
Supporting Actress - Comedy
1. FUCK YES JANE LYNCH. The Emmy's yours, Ms Lynch. There is no way you're not getting this.
2. Jane Krakowski! I love her so much. If Lynch can't win (WHAT), I hope she does. She's so freaking good, man.
Supporting Actress - Drama
1. Christina Hendricks! I love her so.
2. Elisabeth Moss winning wouldn't suck either, tbh.
Guest Actor - Comedy
1. Mike O'Malley! I so want him to win. He plays my dream father and I just love him.
2. Again, NPH. I loved his character on Glee. So good.
3. Jon Hamm and Will Arnett are tied as third choice for me.
4. Why no Groff, Emmys? He's adorable! And he can act and sing. And he's so freaking ~pretty~ I can't stand it. And (HOW DARE I?) I'd have nommed him before NPH if I had to choose. The Groff rocks, Emmy people.
