I was just thinking about the fact that I've been using facebook a lot and not Live Journal. But you know, Live Journal is pretty awesome. I was thinking about posting a "status" if you will... but it was pretty long. So I said fuck it, I'll just do a whole LJ post. But then I forgot what I wanted to say and also realized no one really does the

I do the LJ still sometimes.

Livejournal will always trump facebook, myspace, and the like. I think the reason is those sites are very "look at meee!!" and lj is more subdued. Kind of like a club vs. a saloon or coffee shop.

I feel like I've made real friends on lj, who I've never met. I don't think I could ever do that with facebook, I just talk to people who I already know.

Yeah that's definitely true about the club vs. coffee shop thing. I was going to say LJ is more "look at me!!" because it allows for longer posts, but on the flip side it takes more of a commitment to reading other people's posts as well to really participate. Good ol' LJ.
